Things to Know Before Your BOOKING.

By booking, you acknowledge that you have read and accept all the information and policies below. If you have been previously tattooed or have any questions regarding the procedure, please feel free to contact us before booking, and we will be happy to answer your queries.

A $300 non-refundable booking fee is required to secure your appointment. This amount will be applied toward the total procedure cost.

Please provide at least 72 hours’ notice (by call or text) if you need to reschedule.

Rescheduling with less than 72 hours’ notice will result in forfeiture of your booking fee, and a $300 rebooking fee will apply.

You may reschedule once and carry over your booking fee as a one-time courtesy. Additional reschedules require a new booking fee, and current year fees will apply.

If Gene Phillips Brow Art needs to reschedule, you may rebook or receive a refund of your booking fee.

Cancellations after placing a booking fee are non-refundable.

Refunds are only considered on a case-by-case basis under special circumstances.

Arrivals more than 15 minutes late will be considered a no-show, and the booking fee will be forfeited. No exceptions.

We do not work on old tattoos unless they are very faded or light. Please schedule a consultation to confirm eligibility. In-person consultations are $100 non-refundable (does not apply toward the procedure cost). FaceTime consultations are free.

Some skin types (e.g., oily, sensitive, or those not following aftercare) may require additional sessions. A touch-up fee will apply if needed.

The remaining balance is due upon completion. Accepted payment methods: Cash, Zelle, Venmo, or Credit Card.

No third party is allowed in the procedure room — only the client and artist.

Prices are subject to change prior to booking confirmation.

We reserve the right to refuse service at our discretion.

While we strive for the best results, we cannot guarantee outcomes due to differences in skin type, lifestyle, healing, and aftercare.

Before Your Appointment
• Avoid aspirin, niacin, vitamin E, ibuprofen, alcohol, and caffeine for 24 hours before your procedure.
• Do not use Retin-A or retinols for at least 14 days before and 30 days after your appointment.
• No facials, Botox, chemical peels, or laser treatment within 4 weeks before your procedure.
• If you plan to have facial procedures (facelift, eyelid surgery, etc.), schedule your brow appointment after those treatments to ensure the best symmetry and results.
• Disclaimer: Gene Phillips Brow Art is not responsible for any changes to the brows caused by facial surgery or other procedures performed after your brow service.

After Your Appointment
• Healing may take up to 2 weeks.
• Do not pick, rub, or scratch the treated area.
• Avoid direct sun exposure and tanning for 2 weeks.
• No swimming, saunas, or heavy sweating for 2 weeks.
• Avoid hot tubs, steam rooms, public pools, and the ocean for 2 weeks.
• Gently wash with mild soap and water once or twice daily using your fingertips.
• Apply a thin layer of antibiotic cream once or twice daily.
• No makeup or skincare products on the treated area or T-zone for 2 weeks.
• If the area gets wet, pat dry gently—do not rub.
• Avoid touching the area to prevent infection.
• Wait until the area is fully healed before having chemical peels, Botox, or any medical procedures.

Who Cannot Get This Procedure
• Under 18 years of age
• Pregnant or nursing
• History of keloid scarring
• Diabetes (doctor’s clearance may be required)
• Cancer / chemotherapy (doctor’s clearance required)
• Epilepsy, autoimmune, or circulatory disorders
• Bleeding disorders or taking blood thinners (e.g., aspirin)
• Using Accutane (must wait 6 months after treatment)
• Skin conditions on the brow area (psoriasis, eczema, rashes, etc.)
• Transmittable blood conditions (HIV, Hepatitis, etc.)
• Uncontrolled high blood pressure or poor healing conditions
